Valentine’s Day has passed, and just like any other typical day, I woke up and dragged myself to work. Work has been a lot more relaxing lately, especially since I’m slowly getting hold of all the classes as well as counter work. I really do enjoy teaching, and seeing little kids tumble around being silly and oh-so-adorable can really make my day :)
So it was with this happy mood that I drove to uni after work, and with awesome luck I found an empty parking spot in just one scout (if you didn’t know, HELP’s parking is terrible. There are so many cars and so little space that people triple park & it’s typical to see scratch marks all over cars)! I nearly gave that spot up because I couldn’t park head-first, and my reverse parking still isn’t that skilled, but with great determination (because I really didn’t want to go round and round looking for parking), I managed to reverse park without hitting both cars on either side. Hoorah! :D
Afterwards, time just flew past so quickly, and I found myself hoping and imagining that I would someone get a surprise. I mean, it was Valentine’s Day after all. So I just sat there thinking & thinking, and then suddenly, class was dismissed early. Best day ever. So I rushed all the way back to the carpark, picked Jin Hong up, where we had a really fun time laughing & talking in the car, and when we reached his house, I said “Happy Valentine’s Day”, and he reached over, pulled me into a hug and kissed me on the head.
And then I drove home.
Aha, I bet you thought this was going to be some really interesting story of how I got some love letter during Valentine’s Day, but unfortunately I didn’t :( This is just a really honest post about what I did for the entire day, and it is so because I haven’t properly blogged about a typical day in my life for ages. Gotcha! :P
